Mount Zion School
Mount Zion School located in Barasat a small town, now the district headquarters of North 24 parganas, is close to Dum Dum Airport and about twenty-four kilometres from central Kolkata. Mount Zion School, with its current level of achievement has been made possible by a group of likeminded individuals. All students at Mount Zion are guaranteed to have a life changing experience because of the dedication of the academy’s pillars.
We at Mount Zion are proud to have a dedicated team of teachers and supporting staff who enjoy being around young minds. They guide and inspire their students, urging them to go above and beyond their individual expectations by making the most of their talents and abilities. We believe every child is God given, unique and precious.
Our Founders
Trusting and believing in the divine power of God’s spirit, led by dear wife Mrs. Mini Martin we began Mount Zion School. With very limited resources and in a single room of 350 square feet we started with four Montessori children. In our journey we have noted one truth, God is always faithful if we continue to stay faithful to him. As we look back, over the years we are reminded that it is the gratitude of the heart that speaks as we give God all the glory and praise for bringing the school to where it is today.
